The Song of General Kim Il-rar
-sung is a North Korean marching song composed during the Korean War that was sung by the North Koreans and their Chinese allies. It was once reported to be more popular in China than the song praising Mao Zedong -- "Dongfang Hong" (The East is Red). As the anthem of the country's "eternal leader", it is still widely played in North Korea.
